A native of Naples Florida, Sherrad Reites graduated from Lely High in 1979 and began his professional career in the construction industry working for Boran Craig Schreck Construction. He started as a general laborer and within a few short years, advanced to superintendant running the company's warranty division.
In this role, working with homeowners and developers that needed additional cabinetry included in their projects that was beyond the scope of BCS, Sherrad began taking on side work which evolved into "Sub Finishers", an enterprise he started in 1984.
In 1988, Sherrad joined forces with other industry professionals to establish "West Coast Millwork", which earned projects ranging from $30,000 to over $1,000,000 including the Collier County Corthouse, Collier County Development & Licensing, The Federal Courthouse in Mobile Alabama, British Virgin Islands Federal Courthouse, Olde Florida Country Club, Lely Country Club, and many high-end residential projects.
In 1999, Sherrad bought out his partners, dissolving West Coast Millwork and is now the sole shareholder of "Southwest Woodwork, Inc." to continue the "Family Treedition" .
Sherrad also gives back to the community as a volunteer for Golden Gate National Little League. He has served as League President, Coach, Umpire and has been involved for decades.
